March 25, 2014
Picnic with the Mayor for Fiber to the Home
Do you want the fastest Internet available? Would you like to learn more about Fiber to the Home from the experts? Come to the Picnic with the Mayor at the Shadowood-Wendover Clubhouse from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, weather permitting. C-Spire representatives will be on hand to answer your technical questions. Elected officials and city representatives will share why it is so important for Ridgeland to get Fiber to the Home service to every resident.
Here are a few reasons why we want Fiber in Ridgeland. Fiber can benefit our community by helping to attract more technology businesses, build existing businesses and enhance home-based businesses. Ultrafast Internet through fiber has been shown to increase home values, enhance educational opportunities, and lead to more and better services in the community. Visit www.ridgelandms.org. to learn more about the incredible impact that this technology can have in our community.
Already a fan of Fiber to the Home? Then, please help your neighborhood become qualified for installation of the fiber infrastructure by pre-registering for service. A $10 refundable deposit at www.cspire.com/ridgeland is needed from you, but it does not commit you to purchasing the service and it's refunded if your area does not get fiber.
See you at the Picnic with the Mayor!
